Coach Spotlight: Rowley Dupras

Rowley Dupras joined MWYTC in 2018 to further his track and field training, becoming part of a fantastic program which provided amazing opportunities beyond training.

Rowley’s interest in track began in elementary school through MYTC, his interest turned to love in middle school and continued throughout his high school career. In the summer of 2023, he grew his love of the sport by acting as high jump coach for MWYTC, playing the dual role of both athlete and coach during the summer season.

Rowley is a graduate of Big Sky High School, where he competed for the Eagles as a multi event athlete in the high, long, and triple jumps, as well as the 110m hurdles.

He is a MHSA State AA high jump bronze medalist, MHSA State AA Divisional HJ gold medalist and holds the USATF Junior Olympic National Championship Fourth All-American high jump title, as well as the USATF Montana Association Junior Olympic Championship gold medal in high jump, and the silver medal in the 110m hurdles.

As coach for Mountain West Youth Track Club, Rowley has coached athletes to podium performances during our indoor season, and the Junior Olympic Championship series held over the summer.

Rowley returns to MWYTC as High Jump Coach for 2024 and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and love for the sport with MWYTC athletes.
