OPTIONAL: Winter Program Injury Prevention & Treatment
My name is Dr. Amy Berglund, owner of Active Care Wellness Center, and I will be joining the Mountain West Youth Track Team in the capacity of Team Sports Chiropractic Physician for the 2024-25 Indoor Season. This will be my 4th indoor season with the team.
I am just coming back from maternity leave. My daughter, Adalyn, was born on Montana Day (4/06) and is almost 6 months old. I’m sure she will join me this season for a few practices or track meets. I am already training her to take over my practice in 27 years.
As the team chiropractic sports physician for MWYTC, I will be at practice most Tuesdays as well as traveling with the team to the indoor meets this winter. At practices, I will be offering injury evaluation, injury prevention assessments and treatments for athletes for $120/entire Indoor Season. If an athlete needs more attention than what I can offer at practice, arrangements can be made to come see me at my office. I practice in both Missoula and Stevensville and in-office treatments can be charged to insurance or cash-pay. My goal is to keep the team healthy and strong, to help them achieve optimal performance. Please keep in mind that I have experience and training in treating the following conditions: ankle sprains, shin splints, muscle strains, shoulders, knees and of course spine injuries, using a multitude of techniques to treat the athletes’ specific needs.
Once an athlete has signed up and paid to receive my services, they can check-in as needed. I will have a sheet with time slots where athletes can pick a time to get treated.
