Winter Program Injury Prevention & Treatment:
My name is Dr. Amy Berglund, owner of Active Care Wellness Center, and I am excited to continue supporting the Mountain West Youth Track Team as the Team Sports Chiropractic Physician for the 2025–26 Indoor Season. This will be my fifth season working with the team.
This year my role will look a little different, as I’ll be working more behind the scenes. With a toddler at home (Adalyn) and a Danish exchange student keeping our household lively, my spare time is limited — but my commitment to the team remains the same. Somehow having both a toddler and a teenager requires a lot of the same parenting skills!
As the chiropractic sports physician for MWYTC, I will be offering treatment at my clinics at a discounted rate:
• 10% off appointments (excluding insurance)
• Priority scheduling
• Two treatment locations: Missoula or Stevensville
• Two providers: myself or Dr. Chase Crabtree
Although my contributions will be less visible this season, my focus continues to be the health, recovery, and resilience of the athletes. I am trained and experienced in treating ankle sprains, shin splints, muscle strains, shoulder and knee injuries, and a variety of spinal conditions, using techniques tailored specifically to the needs of young athletes.
