Athlete/Parent Meeting
2026-27 WINTER SEASON REGISTRATION – (will Open Mid-October)
» Practice begins December 1st, 2026 and last practice is March 4th, 2027.
MEMBERSHIP FEE INFORMATION
The membership fee for the upcoming seasons Winter and Summer is $350 per athlete per season.
To support Mountain West Track Club’s fundraising efforts, each athlete must have one representative participate in a Griz Stadium cleanup following one home football game. The representative may be the athlete, a parent, another family member, or a friend.
Families who prefer not to participate in Griz Stadium Clean Up may pay a $100 fundraiser opt-out fee in addition to the standard $350 membership fee. The opt-out fee will be collected at the same time as membership fee during registration.
There are a few Griz home games remaining this season, not including potential playoff games, so there are still several opportunities to complete the cleanup requirement.
» Attendance will be taken at each cleanup to confirm participation and to apply the waiver of the fundraiser fee.
» Completing one cleanup will waive the $100 fundraiser fee for one athlete for either the Winter Program or the Summer Program. Participation in both the 2026–2027 Winter and Summer Programs requires two cleanups—one for each program—to waive both fundraiser fees attached to the membership fee per program.
» Detailed instructions will be emailed on the Thursday before each game to everyone registered for that cleanup.
A fun bonus: Cleanup volunteers receive access to the fourth quarter of the game.

Winter Program Injury Prevention & Treatment:
My name is Dr. Amy Berglund, owner of Active Care Wellness Center, and I am excited to continue supporting the Mountain West Youth Track Team as the Team Sports Chiropractic Physician for the 2025–26 Indoor Season. This will be my fifth season working with the team.
This year my role will look a little different, as I’ll be working more behind the scenes. With a toddler at home (Adalyn) and a Danish exchange student keeping our household lively, my spare time is limited — but my commitment to the team remains the same. Somehow having both a toddler and a teenager requires a lot of the same parenting skills!
As the chiropractic sports physician for MWYTC, I will be offering treatment at my clinics at a discounted rate:
• 10% off appointments (excluding insurance)
• Priority scheduling
• Two treatment locations: Missoula or Stevensville
• Two providers: myself or Dr. Chase Crabtree
Although my contributions will be less visible this season, my focus continues to be the health, recovery, and resilience of the athletes. I am trained and experienced in treating ankle sprains, shin splints, muscle strains, shoulder and knee injuries, and a variety of spinal conditions, using techniques tailored specifically to the needs of young athletes.
