Summer Track Program General Information
Registration typically opens in late April or early May. Summer Season typically runs from June until late July. The Summer Program is open to BOTH Middle and High school athletes. (grades 6-12)

NEW THIS SUMMER – MWYTC is offering a well-rounded cross-country training program focusing on developing flexibility, coordination, strength, endurance and speed to prepare for a successful school fall sports season for the months of June and July 2026.
Summer Track Registration – (NOW OPEN)
The Summer Program is open to BOTH Middle and High school athletes in grades 6-12. (for upcoming 2026-27 school year)
SUMMER TRAINING FEE: $345
(Training fee includes: coaching, USATF Membership, training 4 days/week at Dornblaser Field, team hoodie, team singlet for competitions, registration fee for competitions.)
FOR MWYTC NEW MEMBERS: Send Registration Fee (if paying by Check), copy of Health Insurance Card and a copy of Birth Certificate.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: MAY 29th, 2026
PLEASE NOTE: MWYTC Registration is NOT COMPLETE and the athlete CANNOT PRACTICE UNTIL REGISTRATION FEE HAS BEEN PAID. Training Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE after June 5th, 2026.

Summer Practice Schedule
First day of practice is Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 – last day of practice July 16th, 2026
• Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 80m/100m/110m/200m/400m hurdles, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin, Pole Vault (athletes must have their own poles or have permission to use poles from their high school)
• Multi-Events:
» Pentathlon: Girls and Boys 13-14: 100mH, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, G 800m B 1500m
» Heptathlon: Girls 15-16/17-18: Day 1: 100mH, High Jump, Shot Put, Day 2: 200m, Long Jump, Javelin, 800m

• Thursday – Javelin – Dornblaser Field, 5-6p
This schedule may change due to group experience, numbers and safety.

June 19-21, 2026 – Butte, MT
(Coach D will register athletes for this competition.) You must be registered to compete in this meet to advance to the Region 11 Championships.

» USATF Junior Olympic Region 11 Championships
July 8-12, 2026 – Pocatello, ID
Must register for the Montana Association Championships to participate in the Region 11 Championships. Athletes who place Top 5, will qualify for the National Championships.

Athletes can only compete – choose – events they placed within Top 5 at Regionals Championships for individual events and Top 2 for multi events.
