2021 Summer Season Information and Registration-Coming Soon
2020-21 WINTER SEASON INFORMATION:
Due to Covid-19 we have had to make significant changes to our program for 2020-2021 Indoor Season. The biggest change is our times and locations of practices, and that we will not be traveling to any competitions.
Due to the change in Big Sky Conference Football Program it is highly unlikely that there will be any Track and Field competitions for middle/high school athletes.
Our program this season is geared towards foundational elements speed/power and working on technique/form, and for the distance runners we will focus on off season training, pacing and technique/form. If there is an opportunity to attend a track meet, the coaches will be in attendance, we will register an athlete who would like to compete, but the travel and accommodation is the responsibility of the athlete.
The $300 registration fee for this season will include coaching and the cost of facilities. The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Please think about whether this program is the right fit for you this year. Due to CoVid-19 and the group size restrictions as well as facility closures, our practice times and locations have changed. View the practice schedule page here.
The non-refundable fee also pertains to any circumstance around CoVid-19, if, or how this affects our program. Our goal is to have a compete season of practice but for obvious reasons we cannot predict the direction of the pandemic and the decisions made by the facilities, the health department or the State of Montana. We are doing the best we can to adhere to the guidelines, rules and policies to keep our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and the community as safe from this pandemic as possible, while giving our athletes the opportunity to have fun with friends and participate in a sport they love.
Our program will focus on:
• Speed and Power Group. This includes all sprinters and field event athletes (100m, 200m, 400m, Hurdles, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Javelin, Shot Put)
• Distance Group. This includes athletes who participate in 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200
We have to further divide the athletes into Group 1 or Group 2 to keep practice at 20 athletes or under. (CoVid-19 Restrictions) This will be done by alphabet but we understand it is important for friends to be together so I will take some grouping requests for athletes to be together. Groups will be determined once registration is complete.
